CLINICAL STYLE

At the core of my therapeutic work with clients, is my belief in being client-centered, meaning you are the expert on you as well as my use of the solution-focused, brief therapy model to help you achieve changes quickly. In addition to that foundation, is the reality that I utilize a multitude of techniques in session. The tools I most use to assist my clients, in a manner that meets their needs, as we enter our work together are: use of the here and now, interpersonal process, EMDR, experiential techniques, focus on client strengths, behavioral modifications, and guided imagery. The educator within encourages me to assist those I work with to develop life-long skills surrounding: communication, relaxation, and positive self-talk.
